Earwires are most often the finding used from which to display dangle earrings. Over time, ear piercings may become stretched - earwires can accentuate that. The new patent-pending Open Stems dangle·link has been designed with the post placed centrally on the stud portion of the earring. Such a placement can make some stretched ear piercings less apparent in comparison to earwire.
